Team Members
Jon L. Auvil
President
Jon Auvil founded Meridian Title in 1999. He has been its president ever since.
He is a member of The Florida Bar and has practiced real estate law in Florida
since 1983. That is decades of closings, title work, and solving problems other
companies send out the door.
Jon is a third-generation Florida attorney. He earned his bachelor's degree
and his law degree from the University of Florida.
When he is not in the office, you can usually find him at his family's home on Mud River.
Leslie Herrmann Auvil
Vice President
Leslie has been working at Meridian Title since April of 2006. Originally brought on to handle
marketing and ensure client satisfaction, she has become an integral part of the team and talks
with nearly every client who does business with Meridian Title.
Leslie opens new files, handles escrow accounting, and warehouses files when they get to post-closing.
She has an extensive background in client relations and customer service, and is dedicated to ensuring
that Meridian Title's clients are happy and satisfied with our services.
Leslie is a fourth-generation Floridian, with many family ties in San Antonio and Dade City. She is
a member of Tri Delta and St. Mary's Episcopal Church. Her favorite part of the closing process is
talking to people, and she enjoys spending time on Mud River when she's not at the office.
Andrew C. Walters
Attorney
Andrew C. Walters is a member of The Florida Bar and serves as an attorney at
Meridian Title. He handles commercial and residential real estate transactions
and the legal matters that come with them.
Andrew moved to Florida from Long Island, New York in 2008. He graduated from
the University of South Florida and earned his law degree from Thomas M. Cooley
Law School. He interned with Jon L. Auvil, P.A. before his admission to the
Florida Bar in 2021.
Andrew enjoys working with first-time home buyers — they are always proud of
their accomplishments. When he is not at the office, he spends his time with
his wife and daughter.
